Hang Lung Group (0010) and Hang Lung Properties (0101) chief executive and executive director Weber Lo Wai-pak will retire from his role as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of HLG and HLP on or before August 31 next year, the two companies jointly announced.

The boards are undergoing a comprehensive search to identify a successor to Lo, who will support and facilitate the transition of leadership.
The boards expressed their deep gratitude to Lo for his leadership and unwavering dedication to the group and look forward to Lo’s continued advisory support, in an official capacity to be confirmed in due course.
Chairman Adriel Chan Wenbwo expressed appreciation for the strong partnership and close collaboration he shared with Lo during his tenure and confidence in the team, believing they will maintain strong momentum and continue to achieve outstanding results.
It was mentioned that Chan looks forward to Lo continuing to provide advisory support to the group.
Lo reflected on his eight-year experience at Hang Lung as a golden period in his career, enhancing the "66" brand and launched several key strategies, such as expanding partnerships with luxury brands across various cities.
He eagerly anticipates the opening of Plaza 66 in Hangzhou next April in celebration of Hang Lung’s 66th anniversary.
Lo succeeded Philip Chen Nan-lok as the group’s chief executive in May 2018. Lo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong and has over 25 years of management experience in both the banking and fast-moving consumer goods sectors in Hong Kong and mainland China.
