French luxury giant LVMH plans to open major stores in China this December, and is considering further expansion there, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Four LVMH labels, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany and Loro Piana, are scheduled to open multi-story stores in Beijing this December, reflecting early signs of a recovery in China’s luxury market, the report said.
The report also said LVMH is seeking to open a new Christian Dior store at HKRI Taikoo Hui, a joint venture between Swire Properties (1972) and HKR International in Shanghai.
The store could open as early as 2027, according to Bloomberg.
