China's Zou Jiayi elected next president of AIIB, finance ministry says

China's Zou Jiayi has been elected the next president of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the country's finance ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The AIIB's second president and first female leader, Zou, a former Chinese vice finance minister, will take office in January 2026 for a five-year term, the statement added.
