Zhang Yong named deputy chief of HK liaison office

Zhang Yong was appointed as one of the deputy directors of the Beijing's liaison office in Hong Kong on Wednesday.

Zhang is the executive vice-president of China COSCO Shipping Corporation before the appointment made by the State Council. He will replace Qi Bin, who served in the position since October 2024.

The other three deputy directors are Liu Guangyuan, Luo Yonggang, and Sun Shangwu.
