Body found floating in Sai Kung waters

Police are investigating the identity of a deceased person who was found floating in the water in Sai Kung on Sunday morning.

Shortly before 10 am today, the police received a report that there was a humanoid object floating on the sea surface in Wong Nai Chau, located in Sai Kung.

Marine police boats and fire boats arrived at the scene and sent out divers to search for and rescue the man who fell into the sea.

A body was later retrieved, and the body was taken to the Marine Police base opposite Sai Kung by the marine police.

The police are investigating the identity of the deceased and the cause of the accident.
