Much talked-about Huawei triple-fold phone to launch in March

The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design, a triple-fold smartphone that has sparked heated discussions in the mainland, will launch in Hong Kong next month.
 
The model will be available for preorder at select retailers and authorized stores on Wednesday, with an official release scheduled for March 7. The phone is priced at HK$25,499.

The version to be sold in Hong Kong is the international edition of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design, which features similar specifications to the one reserved for the mainland.

The global foldable smartphone market is expected to grow at an annual rate of over 20 percent, highlighting increasing demand, according to an International Data Corporation report.
