South Korea's new leader Lee says his government to be pro-market and pragmatic

South Korea's newly elected President Lee Jae-myung said in a speech at his swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday that his administration would be pro-market and pragmatic.

He said that within a rapidly shifting global environment, including increased protectionism, he would pursue pragmatic diplomacy for the sake of national interests, while continuing Seoul's security cooperation with the United States and Japan.
