Tradition YCAC eye 10s title repeat

The stage is set for the 36th Tradition HKFC 10s at the Hong Kong Football Club.

Tradition YCAC will set out as favorites when they defend their title in the premier invitational rugby 10s tournament to be played on April 3-4.

"Securing the cup last year marked a significant milestone for us, especially after reaching the finals numerous times but just falling short of victory," head coach Simon Ryan said. "This triumph has only fuelled our determination to defend our title."

Shogun Rugby Men loom as the biggest threats to Tradition YCAC's bid, along with the Ashbury Tropics, who boast a star-studded lineup that includes Nemani Nadolo. The Overseas Old Boys, with former New Zealand pro Lachlan Munro and Fijian Josefa Seutobo, are also expected to contend.

The women's competition has been expanded to eight teams from five.

Tickets, priced at HK$120 per day, are available online at www.hkfc10s.com and www.zicket.co, as well as at the gate on event days.
