Swire Properties (1972) has commenced construction of its fourth Taikoo Li project at Xian in Central China, with an estimated investment of 10 billion yuan (HK$10.7 billion).

Taikoo Li Xi'an will comprise a shopping mall, cultural facilities and a luxury House Collective hotel.
A spokesperson for Xi'an Qujiang New District, Swire's government partner, said the project will bring an exciting transformation to the historical and cultural zone.Swire Properties chief executive Tim Blackburn said Taikoo Li Xi'an is a significant project for the firm, which aims to create a vibrant, world-class cultural and commercial destination in Xi'an.
