WuXi AppTec (2359) announced that it has resumed its regular business operations in Shanghai, adding that it remained confident that its full-year revenue would grow 65 to 70 percent this year from a year ago.
The medical tech firm reiterated that its second-quarter revenue will grow 63 to 65 percent from an earlier year.
This came as CanSino Biologics (6185) has terminated collaboration with Pfizer on the promotion of a meningococcal conjugate vaccine.
CanSino said it signed a cooperation agreement with Pfizer in July 2020, under which the Chinese vaccine developer authorized Pfizer to exclusively promote the company's vaccine product, Manhaixin, in mainland China for a cooperation period of up to 10 years.
It terminated the cooperation with Pfizer on June 4 this year upon friendly negotiation, it said in a regulatory filing to the Hong Kong bourse yesterday.
CanSino's own commercialization team will help the company to formulate and execute domestic and overseas promotion strategies and marketing operations for the product, it added.
Separately, Clover Biopharmaceuticals (2197) said it expected to submit an application for its Covid vaccine candidate in the second half of the year.
