Kwai Chung industrial landmark iCITY sells two workspaces for $5.2 mn

Soundwill's iCITY, a 24-hour digital industrial landmark in Kwai Chung, saw two sales transactions within a week, totaling HK$5.2 million. 

A mid-floor workspace of 386 square feet, sold for HK$2.6 million, or HK$6,735 per sq ft. 

Another high-floor workspace with a floor area of 398 sq ft, also sold for HK$2.6 million, or HK$6,532 per sq ft. 

With the continued surge in demand for physical business locations in Hong Kong from more inbound travelers, iCITY sales are expected to continue to rise; with smaller and more flexible workspaces being more popular, according to Centaline Commercial.

Phase 2 of iCITY has sold a total 193 units, generating HK$539 million.
