Two separate bodies were found in Lamma Island on Sunday afternoon, with a man discovered off Lamma Island and a woman near Shek Kwu Chau.
The man was seen floating about 20 meters from shore at around 3pm at Shek Pai Wan in Lamma Island, and was later washed ashore by waves.
Police and firefighters arrived after receiving a report from a passerby and confirmed the man was dead at the scene.
Earlier on the same day, a woman was also found floating about two kilometers off the coast of Shek Kwu Chau. Police and firefighters soon responded and provided immediate rescue, but the victim was also pronounced dead at scene.
No suicide note or identification documents were found on both of the bodies, and their identity and cause of death were still under investigation.
