Two found dead in Kwai Chung apartment

Two people were found dead inside a Kwai Chung apartment on Saturday night after a concerned mother reported losing contact with her son, prompting a forced entry by emergency responders.

At around 9pm today, police received a report from a woman who said she had lost contact with her 29-year-old son. 

She suspected he had collapsed inside a unit at Shui King Building, located at Wo Yi Hop Road in Kwai Chung.  

Firefighters arrived and forced their way into the apartment, where they discovered a man and a woman unconscious in the bathroom. Paramedics pronounced both dead at the scene.  

Police are currently investigating the identities of the deceased and the cause of death.
