17 trapped mid-air after ride malfunctions at Ocean Park

Seventeen people were trapped after a ride at Ocean Park malfunctioned on Sunday. 

The involved ride is the "Wild Twister" and the incident happened at around 6pm.

Sources said the ride halted mid-operation, leaving the riders suspended in the air. 

All affected individuals were successfully rescued at around 8pm, and no injuries were reported. 

According to the theme park's website, riders could experience the excitement as the ride's main arm, extended arms, and individual seats all swung and spun on their own separate axes.
