ByteDance's Doubao AI glasses near launch, supply chain says

ByteDance's "Doubao" AI glasses are expected to be released in 2026, with a screenless version planned for the first quarter and a display-equipped model in the fourth quarter, according to supply-chain sources cited by mainland media outlet Blue Whale Technology.

The glasses will work with the "Doubao" app and are being jointly developed with Longcheer Technology, a Chinese consumer electronics original design manufacturer. The starting price is expected to be kept below 2,000 yuan (HK$2,226.41).
