HKMA keeps base rate at 4 percent following Fed's decision

The Hong Kong Monetary Fund announced on Thursday that it will keep the base rate at 4 percent after the US Federal Reserve said it would keep the interest rates unchanged on Wednesday.

The target range for the federal funds rate remains unchanged at 3.5-3.75 percent.
