Hang Seng Index plunges in early trading on Thursday

The Hang Seng Index plunged in the early morning trading session on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped by 330 points, or 1.3 percent to 25,302 points. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index fell by 1.5 percent to around 4,983 points.
