Hang Seng Index slumps nearly 460 points in early trading on Wednesday

The Hang Seng Index extended losses in the early morning trading session on Wednesday as the Middle East conflict fueled inflation fears.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped over 460 points to 25,305 points. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.67percent to around 4,843 points.
