The Financial Services Development Council has appointed Daryl Ng Win-kong and Philip Sohmen as the two new vice-chairmen of the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy.
It has also named Ronald Chan Wai-yan and Winnie Chiu Wing-kwan as two new board members. Both appointments have been in effect.
Established by the FSDC and commissioned by the government, the HKAWL serves as an institute focused on invigorating a vibrant ecosystem for family offices worldwide through fostering collaboration, networking, knowledge sharing, and talent development across the sector.
The HKAWL has established the corporate governance committee, which will provide the board with guidance on overall policies and procedures related to human resources, financial and administrative matters, the FSDC said.
Earlier, the HKAWL appointed three new members and 14 incumbent members of its advisory board for a term of two years with effect from November 14, 2025.
Chairman Adrian Cheng Chi-kong extended his sincere gratitude to the three outgoing advisory board members for their contributions and dedication during their tenure.
