Hang Seng Index muted on Friday

Hong Kong stocks were muted on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index closed flat at 26,545 points. 

The market turnover was HK$377 billion. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index grew 0.37 percent to 6,294 points.

For the whole week, the HSI rose by 0.6 percent and the tech gauge by 5 percent.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index went down 0.3 percent to 3,820 points and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index was flat at 13,070 points.
