Hang Seng Index inches up at noon

Hong Kong stocks inched up by midday on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index increased by 31 points to 26,576 points by noon. The half-day market turnover was HK$179 billion. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index grew 0.62 percent to 6,310 points at noon. 

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was flat at 3,830 and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index gained 0.32 percent to 13,117 points at the midday close.
