Manulife Hong Kong and Macau said it has expanded access under its individual medical insurance plans to more than 38,000 public and private hospitals across the mainland.

Customers covered by any Manulife medical plan can access medical services at any public or private hospital across the mainland, according to their individual needs.
The move aims to increase the ease and flexibility of seeking cross-border medical treatment, enabling customers to receive timely and appropriate care.
"This advancement not only elevates the quality of our service, but also reinforces our role as a trusted partner in health,” said Carrie Tong, chief operations officer of Manulife Hong Kong and Macau.
In related news, Manulife has also extended its credit service for hospitalization to over 800 designated public and private hospitals in the mainland.
