Link REIT CEO George Hongchoy to step down before June 2026

Link Real Estate Investment Trust (0823) announced that its chief executive and executive director George Hongchoy Kwok-lung will step down from the roles before the end of June 2026. 

The company will commence a comprehensive process to identify a successor to lead the organisation in the next phase, according to a filing on Tuesday. 

Link REIT expressed its gratitude to Hongchoy for his contribution and leadership over the past 16 years. 

Hongchoy will support the implementation of a smooth transition, it added. 

Its shares rose 2 percent following the announcement.
