WestK teams up with Rolex on performing arts program

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and luxury watch seller Rolex are joining hands for an upcoming art program in a bid to boost Hong Kong's status as a global cultural exchange hub.

The partnership, established in June, aims to support WestK's new season of Cantonese opera program Tea House Theatre Experience, which is set to begin in July.

At the launch ceremony on Tuesday, Paul Tam Siu-man, executive director of performing arts at WKCDA, expects the collaboration to boost cultural offerings and contribute to Hong Kong's performing arts ecosystem.

Maxim Lamarre, chief executive of Rolex Greater China, said the partnership is in line with Rolex's acknowledgement on human achievement and creativity.
