Global Sources exhibition launches an array of intriguing portable gadgets

Consumer Electronics and Mobile Electronics products tailored for consumers on the go have captured the attention of buyers worldwide.

With a 1228Wh of battery capacity, S1200 is a great companion for outdoor enthusiasts to power portable electrical appliances and fast-charge mobile devices.

The power usage can be tracked on the LED screen of the product. It comes with a real-time monitoring and control function through an iOS or Android app, for users to check remotely on its battery level and input and output power. Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (GCCEI) from South Korea introduces the ES30 Portable Smart UV-C LED Sterilizer by EMTAKE Inc., a thermography start-up. The ultraviolet light (UV-C) can be applied to surfaces of any household and personal items, and food and beverages for disinfection and deodorization purposes by destroying the DNA of bacteria and preventing their growth.

The safe operation of the sterilizer is ensured by a smart sensor to prevent accidental direct irradiation to humans. The product comes with an accessory kit of lids that hold it in a top-down position to clear out the germs. For instance, it sets a five-minute timer to disinfect cell phones and toothbrushes, and takes 15 minutes to remove the stench of shoes. Trial results show that the UV-C can effectively eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.

Compact and user-friendly in design, ES30 is available at an affordable price and convenient for city commuters to bring along with them wherever they go.

Shenzhen Swetz Sound Technology Co. Ltd.'s TS201G True Wireless Stereo (TWS) gaming earbuds elevate the gaming experience for gamers on the go by saying good riddance to audio latency issues in old-time earphones that plague gamers. Through a dongle (available in USB-C plug or 3.5mm audio jack) attached to the gaming device, TS201G significantly reduces the latency to lower than 20 milliseconds and synchronizes the audio and in-game motions at a new level of immersion. The stem-type earbuds support environmental noise cancellation (ENC), and four to six hours of play time before a recharge in the illuminating case.

TS201G was sought-after among buyers at the private presentation sessions during the exhibition, and many came to inquire about its specifications. “We receive a lot of positive feedback from buyers, and we hope the new launch can cater to high-end gaming needs,” said William Pang, Senior Business Manager of Swetz Sound.

Popular among the female demographic, TW027B TWS earbuds are in miniature size that is comfortable for wearing. The earbuds are supported by Bluetooth 5.0, and take 1.5 hours to complete charging in their charging case. The 6mm drivers deliver deep, rich bass with crystal clear treble. App support is available for individual customization.

Shenzhen Rainbow Electronic Co. Ltd. sees the rising environmental awareness among consumers. Its eco-friendly phone cases meet Global Recycled Standard (GRS), and are biodegradable under a specific set of temperature and humidity, where the process would take six to twelve months. The phone cases are made with a synthetic product of polylactic acid (PLA), bamboo fiber, wheat fiber and recycled materials.

The company also offers a range of tempered glass screen protectors, made with glass from AGC and Panda Glass. Apart from functionalities of anti-scratch and anti-blue light, an antibacterial function is introduced and said to kill 99.99% bacteria on the screen with a long-lasting effect. The anti-dust function of screen protectors is enhanced by ultrasonic silk printing in the production, to punch holes of diameter between 0.1mm and 0.2mm on the speaker area of the phone, maintaining the audio quality while keeping the dust away.
