Since the onset of Covid-19, international traders will be able to gather in Hong Kong this fall for the first time in a live B2B sourcing exhibition that showcases the latest electronics, lifestyle and fashion products.

While the world is still coping with the pandemic, Global Sources, a leading international B2B sourcing platform that combines e-commerce and live exhibition experience, has taken the initiative to reinvigorate the exhibition industry, kickstarting the first-ever B2B sourcing show the Global Sources Fall 2021 Show Series at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong after the outbreak of Covid-19. As of early October, the total global registered visitor number has topped 13,000.

8 shows in 1 – a boutique sourcing event

Running from October 25 to 27, the Global Sources Fall 2021 Show Series comprises eight themes: Consumer Electronics, Electronic Components, Mobile Electronics, Smart Home & Appliances, Home & Kitchen, Tech Gifts, Lifestyle, and Fashion. The product portfolio is characterized by the latest trends and development, where a diverse array of exhibits can be found, including audio and visual equipment, computer products and peripherals, mobile devices, wearables, mobile accessories, household items, fashion apparel and accessories.

Hu Wei, Chief Executive Officer of Global Sources, said, “The Global Sources Fall 2021 Show Series in Hong Kong is the first post-pandemic B2B sourcing show, and Global Sources is presenting a fine selection of quality exhibitor partners, bringing innovative electronic technology products and quality life and fashion professional exhibits that are in strong market demand, to better meet the purchasing wishes of global buyers whilst helping buyers catch the purchasing trends.”

A brand-new trade show paradigm

To facilitate the interaction between international buyers and suppliers, the Private Product Demo Session and the Show Ambassador services are incorporated in the traditional exhibition model. In the demo sessions, selected VIP buyers will be invited to meet each participating supplier company in a private, face-to-face meeting, while through the Show Ambassadors, suppliers can promote its products, services and brand image at their exhibition booth and interact with visiting buyers.

Global Sources’ trade shows will begin next week. Stay tuned to The Standard for full coverage of a new, exciting era in the exhibition industry.
