A 56-year-old woman died after falling from height at Jewel Changi Airport shopping complex on Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 1:55 pm at 78 Airport Boulevard. Police confirmed the woman was found unconscious and pronounced dead at Changi General Hospital despite resuscitation efforts. Singapore Civil Defence Force personnel responded to provide assistance.
Witnesses reported hearing a scream followed by a loud impact. Multiple bystanders attempted CPR while others called for medical teams. One witness described the victim as possibly Chinese with visible head bleeding, while a shop employee noted massive blood flow from the mouth and an unresponsive state.

Airport staff subsequently cordoned off parts of the third floor, suspected as the fall origin. CEO of Jewel Changi Airport Development Lee Ching Wern expressed condolences to the family and confirmed full cooperation with police investigations.
This marks the second fall incident at the location this year, following a 20-year-old foreign youth's serious injuries in March. Police continue investigating all possible circumstances surrounding the latest incident.
