Experience Macao as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy! From 11-20 July, the Roman Amphitheatre Square and Legend Boulevard of Macau Fisherman’s Wharf will transform into a food paradise with around 100 food stalls under the theme “Spices and Herbs”. This fantastic feast is showcasing renowned chefs from 28 UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy worldwide, conducting over 60 cooking demonstrations. Savour amazing cuisines, chill out in the bar area, have fun at the game zone, enjoy live performances, gain secrets from top chefs at culinary demonstrations and take part in the International Gastronomy Forum.

Embark on an aesthetic journey through the cityscape at Art Macao
“Hey, what brings you here?” is the theme of Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2025, held from 19 July to 19 October.Curated by renowned international curator Feng Boyi, this three-month art event features 30 exhibitions across the city, showcasing modern masterpieces by artists from more than 10 countries and regions. Artists, including contemporary masters Xu Bing, Ann Hamilton and Gregor Schneider, craft innovative narratives, revitalize historical spaces and explore the community in six exciting sections.

Family fun at the 2nd Macao International Children’s Arts Festival
Join this extensive programme that covers art camps, performances, exhibitions, a film festival, arts carnival, and workshops in music theatre, painting and dance.
Highlights include Cinderella by the Czech Republic’s Ballet of the National Theatre Brno, and Slava’s renowned Snowshow. Babies will enjoy Bebeethoven by Portugal’s Full Moon Theatre. Performances under the theme “East-West Encounter, Asia in Harmony” feature the multimedia Poli Pop by South Korea’s Brush Theatre. Locally, Macao’s Rolling Puppet Alternative Theatre performs Chong Chong’s Hamsters, while the Macao Chinese Orchestra and acappella group Water Singers present the Musical Magic Wand IV – Percussion vs. the Bull Demon King.

Marvel at the official flower of Macao at the 25th Macao Lotus Flower Festival
The lotus flower is the floral emblem of Macao and is represented in the city’s flag. Awe at the sea of beautiful blooms and soak up the tranquil ambience at the 25th annual Macao Lotus Flower Festival, held from 6-20 July from 6am to 10pm with free admission. Don’t forget to visit the lotus photo and literature exhibition, plant flowers hands-on, join lotus-themed workshops such as making short lotus videos and lotus related cooking classes, and participate eco-tours on lotus appreciation.
