A McDonald's eatery in Brazil must install separate male and female toilets after trouble about a unisex facility.Authorities visited and found "health regulations have not been respected."
Trouble erupted after a video circulated from inside the unisex toilet of a McDonald's in Bauru. The clip includes a woman who appears to have provided it complaining: "This is absurd! Children use these bathrooms. This is communism in our city. It's shameful!"

A local law states toilets must be "separated and identified, one for each sex." McDonald's was given two weeks to comply or face a fine or closure of the eatery.
McDonalds explained it had been trying to create areas of "inclusion and respect" so "everyone feels welcome to use" the toilets, but it's cooperating with authorities to "meet certain standards."
The issue riled up conservatives in a country where gender has been a hot topic since Jair Bolsonaro - often accused of sexism and homophobia - became president three years ago.
