Chinese vaccine maker Sinopharm's (1099) net profit increased by nearly 15 percent to 7.19 billion yuan (HK$8.58 billion) year-on-year in 2020.
The company declared a final dividend of 0.69 yuan per share.
Revenue rose 7.32 percent to nearly 456.42 billion yuan, with the gross profit margin standing at 8.83 percent.
Revenue from pharmaceutical distribution rose 3.25 percent, making up 74.18 percent of the total. Revenue from retail pharmacy rose by 22 percent, accounting for 5.15 percent and revenue from medical devices, which comprises 19 percent of the total, grew by 29 percent.
The company received government grants of over 652 million yuan, up nearly 48 percent from the previous year.
Separately, property manager Country Garden Services (6098) said its net profit rose around 61 percent to 2.69 billion yuan.
It declared a final dividend of 21.87 fen, marking 45 percent year-on-year growth.
Revenue rose by 62 percent to 15.6 billion yuan. The gross profit margin rose by 2.4 percentage points to 34 percent, thanks to the rising gross profit margin in revenue from property management services and value-added services to non-property owners.
Meanwhile, A-Living Services (3319) saw its annual profit jump by 42.50 percent to 1.75 billion yuan (HK$2.09 billion) year-on-year in 2020.
It declared a final dividend of 0.33 yuan per share and a special dividend of 0.19 yuan per share.
Basic earnings per share rose by 43.50 percent to 1.32 yuan.
