Ten civil servants from Shenzhen gained "ample experiences" and identified promising areas for collaboration after a three-month immersion in Hong Kong.
Secretary for the Civil Service Ingrid Yeung Ho Poi-yan shared quotes from some members of the group in a Facebook post.
"We gained valuable insights and built strong working relationships and friendships with Hong Kong counterparts," said Zhang Xin, head of external cooperation at the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission. Zhang said he discovered immense potential for collaboration during his time at the city's Digital Policy Office and Innovation and Technology Commission.
