Jiangsu exhibit makes waves

Henry Tang Ying-yen, founding president of the Hong Kong Jiangsu Associations and chairman of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, said in a Jiangsu artist's exhibition yesterday that he looks forward to Jiangsu and the city continuing to work together to promote the hub of East-meets-West cultural and artistic communication.

In artist Xu Yun's solo exhibition Ten Million Waves at the Arts Pavilion, WKCD, Tang said Hong Kong is a national cultural and artistic exchange center between China and the world and welcomes Chinese artists to make good use of the city's cultural and artistic platform to go international.

The exhibition showcases over 30 works, including ink on paper, mixed media on paper or canvas, oil on canvas and mirror works, which are Xu's representative works from the past five years, featuring series such as Fissure, Ink Dreams, Black Gold and Golden Dragon.
