Astronomical phenomenon lunar occultation of Venus to occur on Friday.Space junkies can enjoy the hour-long celestial event starting from 7.47pm facing toward northwestern horizon.
The last lunar occultation of Venus observable in Hong Kong was in 2010 and the next one will be in 2063.

To get a better vision, watching through a binoculars or telescope is suggested. The event happens when the moon will pass between the Earth and Venus, which covers Venus for a brief period.
Observers are advised to go to a place with an unobstructed view of Venus reappearing at 8.53pm.
Live streaming will be available at the Hong Kong Space Museum's YouTube channel and the "LCSD Plusss" Facebook page from 7.30pm to 9pm explaining the rare occurrence.
