Chinese auto giant BYD's female CFO earns more than its founder last year

The 54th Hong Kong Arts Festival launched today (February 27) with ongoing support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, a partner since 1973.
Officiating were Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR Sun Shangwu, Secretary for the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau Rosanna Law Shuk-pui, Leisure and Cultural Services Department Director Manda Chan, Jockey Club Chairman Martin Liao, HKAF Chairman Lo Kingman, and Executive Director Flora Yu.
This year’s Jockey Club Series includes the opening show La Bella Otero by Ballet Nacional de España, choral works led by Sir John Eliot Gardiner, and Eugene Onegin by National Theatre Brno.
The Jockey Club East-meets-West Series features a Chinese adaptation of Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, highlighting cross-cultural collaboration among Hong Kong, Mainland, and overseas artists.
The Jockey Club InnoArts Series presents KAGAMI, a mixed-reality piano recital with Ryuichi Sakamoto using AR to join his final performance.
The Student Matinee Programme offers up to 3,200 free tickets for Duel Reality by The 7 Fingers—a circus reimagining of Romeo and Juliet—plus pre-show talks.
