18-year-old arrested after mother reports suspected drug use in Choi Hung Estate

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs at a flat in Choi Hung Estate on Wednesday (Feb 25).

Police received a report around 5pm from her mother, who said the daughter appeared incoherent while using drugs. Officers found her in her bedroom and seized a vape cartridge suspected to contain etomidate, with a street value of about HK$100.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs. She is understood to work as a waitress.

The case is under investigation.
