A 23-year-old woman has died in a suspected suicide at a Tai Koo Shing flat on Tuesday night.
The Tong surnamed woman was found hanged by family members in a room at the Lotus Mansion of Tai Koo Shing Harbour View Gardens on Tai Koo Wan Road, Chai Wan, at around 10pm.
Family members took her down and called for help. Emergency personnel arrived but pronounced her dead at the scene.
A preliminary police investigation found she had used a 30-centimeter-long hiking rope. A suicide note was also recovered at the scene. The case is being treated as a suicide, with the cause of death pending a post-mortem.
It is understood she had recently been struggling with emotional issues.
