Donnie Yen receives honorary doctorate degree

Lingnan University held its Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony on Monday, honoring six distinguished individuals for their remarkable achievements and contributions to humanity. Among them was international action star Donnie Yen Chi-tan who received the Doctor of Humanities.

Yen said he was honored to receive the degree and expressed hope that young people would cherish their time learning on university campuses.

Yen added that he has always been eager to share his experiences, noting that he often exchanges ideas with young filmmakers on set and recounts both his successes and failures to help them avoid unnecessary detours.
