Robber on loose after $650k luxury watch heist in Tsim Sha Tsui

Police are hunting for a man who snatched up a luxury watch worth about HK$650,000 from a Tsim Sha Tsui shop on Sunday.

A mainland Chinese man in his 40s visited the Prince Jewellery & Watch's Haiphong Road Branch at around 12.45pm to pose as a customer interested in purchasing a luxury timepiece. He then grabbed a luxury watch and fled towards the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station.

Sources said the watch is a Rolex collection.

Officers are looking for a man who was wearing a black top and dark pants, a white mask, and carrying a light-colored backpack.
