P-plate car flips over in Tsuen Wan, driver unhurt

A probationary-license private car flipped over in Tsuen Wan on Thursday night, leaving the driver with only minor injuries.

The accident occurred at about 9.43pm on Hoi Hing Road near the Chai Wan Kok ventilation building. The white car reportedly lost control, collided with roadside facilities and overturned, landing on its roof.

Photos from the scene showed the severely damaged vehicle upside down on the road with shattered glass and bent railings scattered nearby.

Police and emergency personnel arrived to find the male driver with slight abrasions. He remained conscious and declined hospital treatment.

Officers cordoned off the area to investigate the cause, including whether excessive speed or other human factors were involved.
