A 52-year-old male patient has died after being found collapsed at Chun Shek Estate following his departure from Prince of Wales Hospital on Sunday.

The hospital reported the medical risk incident involving suspected suicide, stating the patient had been admitted on October 20 for abdominal pain to the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics.
Around 6:45pm, ward staff discovered the patient missing and immediately notified hospital security, initiated a search, alerted police, and contacted family members. The hospital later received police notification at approximately 7:20pm that the patient had fallen from height and died despite rescue efforts.
Prince of Wales Hospital stated the patient showed no suicidal tendencies upon admission and maintained stable mood during hospitalization. The hospital expressed deep sorrow, extended condolences to the family, and pledged full assistance and cooperation with police investigation.
Police reported receiving a call around 6:45pm about a man found collapsed on a building canopy, suspected to have fallen from height. Officers found the 52-year-old man surnamed Tang unconscious, and he was pronounced dead at Prince of Wales Hospital after emergency treatment.
Initial investigation suggests the man fell from a staircase area, with no suicide note discovered at the scene. The cause of death awaits autopsy determination.
