Jacky Cheung cancels Guangzhou concerts due to health issues

Cantopop star Jacky Cheung Hok-yau announced the cancellation of his Guangzhou concerts on Friday, citing health issues. 

The renowned singer had previously delayed his tour due to illness and was scheduled to perform for three consecutive days starting today in Guangzhou. However, he has once again announced the cancellation of these shows due to health concerns.

The organizing committee released a statement explaining that, considering the artist's health and to ensure the quality of the performance, they have decided to formally inform the public that the three shows of the Jacky Cheung 60+ Tour scheduled from March 7 to 9 at the Baoneng Guangzhou Arena have been canceled.

Cheung is set to perform at the Kaohsiung Arena at the end of the month, followed by three weeks of shows at the Taipei Arena in April. It is currently unclear if these performances will be affected.

Last week, upon his arrival in Guangzhou, Cheung was seen wearing two masks to avoid contracting any virus, but unfortunately, he still fell ill.
