Citybus announced on Wednesday that passengers of its solely operated overnight routes will be able to enjoy half-price discounts on bus fares on October 1, starting from midnight.
The bus operator said it supports the government’s "Night Vibes Hong Kong" campaign and remains committed to help stimulate the vibrant night economy of Hong Kong.
It added it has strategically chosen the date October 1 to offer the special discount as the city prepares for an array of exciting events during this extended weekend, including the Mid-Autumn Night Celebration and the National Day Firework Display.
The half-priced fare also provides an additional opportunity for customers to bask the vibrant night vibes of Hong Kong, it added.
Meanwhile, to facilitate commuters celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, Citybus said it will provide special bus services this Friday (September 29).
This will include adjustments to the schedules of certain routes to accommodate citizens who wish to leave work earlier. Additionally, Citybus will operate special bus services including Route 173R from Stanley to Tsim Sha Tsui East (Mody Road) and add departures of Route X15 between Central (Star Ferry) and The Peak.
