Poon’s mother today said she will honor her words of arranging flight tickets and any transportation needs to the airport for Chan once he set up a date for turning himself in to Taiwan authorities for his murder case.
She also questioned the authenticity of the voice recording of Chan released by Reverend Canon Peter Koon Ho-ming today, saying she wanted Chan to make the promise out in the public.
Rev Koon, who has been helping to liaise with Chan, released a voice recording by Chan today morning, where Chan again apologized to Poon’s parents for what happened to their daughter and said he has asked his lawyer in Taiwan to arrange his return this month.
