Caring Company Logo awards from the Hong Kong Council of Social Service have gone to 163 firms linked to the Cheung Kong Group, making it the most successful operation during the program's 19 years.Launched by the HKCSS in 2002, the Caring Company program aims to create a cohesive society through cultivating good corporate citizenship and building strategic partnerships among business, public and non-profit organizations.
Among the range of Cheung Kong firms, six were awarded the 20 Years Plus Caring Company Logo - the highest commendation - while 52 collected the 15-year logo.

The scope for an award is broad, with a company checked for caring for the community, the environment and its employees.
In all there are 21 criteria under the scheme.
The Council of Social Service is an umbrella organization for 480 entities that together provide over 90 percent of social welfare services in Hong Kong.
