A 16-year-old girl, Lee Yin-yau, was sentenced to 18 months probation following her guilty plea to indecent conduct in public and possession of a dangerous drug at Tuen Mun Magistrates’ Courts on Monday (Feb 16).
The case involved two male youths and Lee. The incident occurred in March 2025 at a public car park in Tin Yat Estate, Tin Shui Wai, and was reportedly recorded by bystanders.
Acting Principal Magistrate Tang Siu-hung noted that Lee had shown a positive attitude in her rehabilitation report. The probation officer considered her willing to reform. She was also ordered to undergo one year of residential drug rehabilitation and barred from contact with criminal associates.
The two male defendants received separate sentences: one was sent to a rehabilitation centre, while the other received 18 months probation.
