Maggie Cheung unveils dream garden project in French countryside, captivates fans online

Retired Hong Kong actress Maggie Cheung Man-yuk has captivated fans after launching a Xiaohongshu account, where she documents her new life project—an expansive Dream Garden in France's Bordeaux region. Over the past few years, Cheung has shared regular updates about the garden's transformation, drawing widespread attention.

Cheung's latest videos and photos showcase the remarkable scale and beauty of her garden, sparking admiration and discussion among netizens.

In the most recent post, large-scale construction is underway as gardeners use small excavators to dig trenches and prepare the land. Truckloads of soil mixed with fertilizer are delivered to support the planting of a new bamboo fence.

The video reveals the garden's idyllic location in the French countryside, surrounded by fields, woodlands, and a distant vineyard, offering a picturesque setting for Cheung's project.

Cheung explained that bamboo was chosen for the fence to enhance privacy while preserving a natural atmosphere. She noted that bamboo grows quickly and will soon form a lush, tall barrier.

To promote healthy growth and help the bamboo survive the winter, Cheung and her team are using mulch to maintain optimal humidity and temperature.

Cheung expressed her excitement about the future of the garden, saying she hopes it will bring joy in the coming years.
