ByteDance gets US$30 billion loan, Bloomberg News reports

ByteDance has secured a US$29.6 billion (HK$230.88 billion) loan, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Chinese tech giant was originally seeking a US$20 billion facility, but increased the size after gathering strong commitments from banks, Bloomberg News reported.
