China's Ping An Insurance posts 36pc profit rise in H1

China's Ping An Insurance (2318) reported a 36 percent year-on-year rise in net profit for the first half of this year, a filing on Thursday showed.

The insurance company posted net profit of 92.585 billion yuan (HK$108.03 billion) for the six months ended June 30, above analysts' mean estimate of 85.528 billion yuan, according to data from LSEG.
