China's youth jobless rate falls to 12-month low in June

China's surveyed urban unemployment rate for youths in June dropped to the lowest level in 12 months, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Monday.

• The survey-based jobless rate for 16-to-24 year-olds, excluding students, fell to 14.9 percent from 15.6 percent in May.
• For people aged 25 to 29, the surveyed urban unemployment rate was 7.1 percent in June, down from 7.2 percent the previous month.
• The rate for 30-59 year-olds dipped to 4.0 percent from 4.1 percent.
