Chinese chipmaker Montage Technology 'fully cooperating' with S Korean authorities after office raid

Chinese chipmaker Montage Technology (6809) said it has been fully cooperating with South Korean authorities after its local office was raided regarding an investigation of a potential competition law violation.

None of its directors and employees has been charged by the Fair Trade Investigation Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office or any government authorities with any wrongdoing, the company said in a filing on Friday.

Its shares continued to slide over 7 percent on Friday following a 23 percent slump on Thursday. 

South Korea contributed a total of 2.9 billion yuan, or more than half of Montage’s sales in 2025, the filing showed.
